The Daylillies are going strong. They will need to be seperated next Spring.

Do you know what this is? A newly emerging Rhubarb leaf. It sort of puffs up as it grows. Kind of cool huh?

Yeah, buddy! Sure looks like Spring HAS sprung there!
We had temps at 78 degrees today — everything is greening up nicely. Lisa’s rhubarb leaves look like the above, except they’re spotted with red and are a darker green.
As far as ground cover, if you want something beautiful, yet VERY invasive (two operative words there, VERY and INVASIVE), try Chameleon Plant (Houttuynia Cordata). It did exactly what we wanted it to do, and that is to take over the area we planted it in. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay contained the way we wanted it to.
Of course, I HEART pachysandra too, but it’s much better in shade. The Chameleon plant is a sun lover but does very well in partial sun to partial shade as well.
Our rose bushes are budding, putting up new leaves and branches. Our Weeping Cherry is loaded with buds, and the Lilacs are ready to explode with color and *achOOOO* fragrance.
